Description

An original-generation SOG Trident Tanto TF-7, featuring SOG's assisted-opening system and distinctive black tanto blade.

The original Trident series combined a 3.75-inch AUS-8 stainless-steel blade with a lightweight glass-reinforced nylon handle. This TF-7 configuration features a straight-edge tanto blade with SOG's black TiNi finish.

SOG equipped the Trident with its SAT assisted-opening mechanism, blade-locking safety, reversible low-carry pocket clip and a distinctive groove in the handle that provides access to a small section of the blade while the knife remains closed.

This example is pre-owned and has been carried, used and sharpened. It shows cosmetic wear consistent with use but remains a nice example of the earlier discontinued Trident design.

Good Pre-Owned Condition

This knife shows evidence of previous carry and use. The black blade finish has visible scratches, scuffs and areas of finish wear, particularly toward the blade tip and along the cutting edge. The edge appears to have been previously sharpened.

The tanto point remains intact, and the factory SOG / Trident Tanto markings remain clear. The black handle shows normal handling and carry wear but appears complete and in good overall condition. Pocket clip, thumb studs and blade safety are present.
