Description
A classic American-made Schrade Old Timer 34OT Middleman Stockman, featuring the traditional three-blade stockman configuration and distinctive brown sawcut-style Old Timer handle.
The 34OT was one of Schrade's long-running traditional pocket-knife patterns. Period Schrade material confirms the 34OT as part of the Old Timer lineup, while the SCHRADE / USA 34OT tang marking identifies this example as originating from Schrade's original U.S. production.
This knife features three traditional blades—a clip-point main blade accompanied by sheepsfoot and spey-style utility blades—along with brown sawcut Delrin handles, nickel-silver bolsters, brass liners and the classic OLD TIMER shield.
This example has clearly been carried and used over the years and displays substantial natural patina, staining and wear that give it the appearance of a genuine vintage working knife.
The photographs show the actual knife being offered.

All three blades show substantial age and use, including scratches, dark spotting, oxidation/patina and evidence of previous sharpening. The clip-point main blade retains an intact point, although it has clearly seen considerable use. The two secondary blades exhibit similar staining and surface oxidation.
The brown handle scales appear complete, with normal scratches and handling wear. The Old Timer shield remains securely in place. The nickel-colored bolsters show scratches and dulling, while the exposed liners and internal surfaces show age-related discoloration.
