Ontario RAT II Linerlock Folding Knife 3" AUS-8 Blade Orange Nylon Handle (215)

Description

A compact version of Ontario Knife Company's popular RAT folder, this RAT Model II combines a satin-finished AUS-8 stainless-steel blade with a highly visible orange textured handle.

This configuration is cataloged as ON8860OR and features a 3-inch blade, 4-inch closed length, textured Nylon 6 handle and liner-lock construction. The blade is clearly marked Model II / AUS-8 / Taiwan and carries the Randall's Adventure & Training RAT logo on the opposite side.

The knife uses dual thumb studs for manual opening and offers multiple pocket-clip mounting positions.

This is a pre-owned knife, and the photographs show the actual knife being offered.

Condition

I would grade this example Good Pre-Owned Condition.

The satin blade shows numerous fine scratches and surface marks consistent with previous cutting, carry and cleaning. There is evidence of previous sharpening along the cutting edge, but the blade retains a good overall profile and the point appears intact.

The bright orange handle scales present well overall, with normal handling marks and light cosmetic wear. I don't see an obvious crack, chip or missing section in the supplied photographs.

The black pocket clip shows noticeable finish wear and scratches, particularly along the edges and center portion. Hardware shows normal signs of use. The liner-lock mechanism and internal components appear intact.

Please review all photographs carefully for exact cosmetic condition. The knife pictured is the actual knife you will receive.
