A discontinued Cold Steel Bowie Spike 53NBS featuring a slim 4-inch Bowie-style clip-point blade and lightweight full-tang construction.

The Bowie Spike was part of Cold Steel's compact Spike series. This version uses German 4116 stainless steel with a satin finish and a deeply ground blade profile. The full tang runs through the textured black Griv-Ex handle, producing a remarkably light fixed-blade design at approximately 2.3 ounces.

Factory specifications list the Bowie Spike at 8 inches overall with a 4-inch blade and 4-inch handle.

This example is especially complete, retaining its original Cold Steel box and Secure-Ex sheath.

The blade carries the factory COLD STEEL / MADE IN TAIWAN marking on one side and THE SPIKE marking on the opposite side.
